About the Role:

Hikvision is seeking to fill a role of Business Development Manager based in Melbourne, who will cover the Victoria and Tasmania region.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans and hit sales growth target in the assigned territory (VIC/TAS)
  • Give presentations and demonstrations to the industry (technical background of CCTV/Intercom/Access Control required)
  • Build/grow strong relationships with System Integrators/Security Consultants/End Users to have Hikvision solution accepted/specified
  • Conduct market research and finding new opportunities/projects for Hikvision

 

Role Requirements:
To be successful for this role you must be able to display the following: 

  • A successful track record in sales, or demonstrated business development skills
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within Electronic Security Industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication both internally in the company and externally to the industry
  • Proven abilities in building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners across all levels of an organisation
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple sales engagements
  • Familiar with IT tools such as Office and Salesforce

 

The new BDM will receive Product Training upon commencing in the role. A base salary, car allowance, bonus scheme and superannuation will be offered in line with the person's experience.
