Boral Cement is looking to appoint an experienced Account Manager to support market growth, customer management, retention and service within our Lime business.

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Support the Sales Manager – Lime in the achievement of Boral’s Zero|One|Ten strategic intent and related activities.
  • Support all activities and programs related to the national Lime growth and commercial plans.
  • Prepare information and analysis on competitor activity and market/projects data.
  • Ensure Boral’s commercial excellence programs have impact and application for the Cement Lime business and drive customer-centric practices and behaviours at all times.
  • Use market intelligence to identify opportunities and threats for business’ growth and product opportunities. 
  • Effectively service and manage Lime customer account base and provide sales administration support on a consistent and coordinated basis.
  • Strengthen Boral Cement’s brand equity and reputation with customers through regular contact with customer key executives to ensure they are satisfied with products and associated services.
  • Pre-empt and provide solutions for customers in a manner that yields credibility and value.
  • Coordinate internal technical expertise to facilitate effective technical advice and service to customers as required.
  • Accept and carry out responsibilities in accordance with the relevant Boral HSE system.

Ideally, the successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • 5 years relevant industry experience in an industrial sales environment.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in an industrial, engineering or business discipline.
  • Proven capability in achieving commercial outcomes that demonstrate value for the business.
  • Previous experience with sales industry processes and sales management tools.
  • Familiarity with construction materials, mining and manufacturing industries.
