About the Role

Kaplan Professional Education is a leading national provider of professional education and training for the financial services industry. We offer registration and compliance courses, Vocational and Higher Education programs, continuing professional development options as well as customised corporate solutions. We deliver postgraduate qualifications in Financial Planning and Applied Finance.

The Team Leader (B to C) is responsible for coaching and driving sales.  Working closely with the B-to-C Sales Manager you will support strategies and enrolment campaigns to deliver enrolment targets while coordinating their general sales channel for the purposes of enrolling those wishing to study with Kaplan Professional.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Coach team members resulting in increased lead conversion
  • Drive implemented sales strategies to achieve team and business enrolments targets
  • Support and contribute to creating an efficient and effective sales process
  • Harbour a fun and vibrant team culture, while promoting friendly competition
  • Convert leads into new enrolments from the website and inbound calls
  • Participate in outbound call marketing enrolment drive campaigns
  • Contribute to a supportive, positive, safe workplace
  • Approach your work with integrity and accountability in line with all Kaplan policies and procedures

About You

To be successful in this role you will possess:

Essential

  • 2-3 years’ high volume inbound call centre experience
  • Superior customer service skills with strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience in achieving sales targets
  • Inter-department relationship and presentation skills
  • Strong time management and numerical skills, while having the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Desirable

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and Learning Management System
  • Knowledge and experience of financial services and education management
  • Previous manager or team leader call centre experience
