In Australia, IMG Fashion owns and operates the biggest industry event in the Asia Pacific region, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, and consumer event Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weekend Edition.

IMG Fashion is seeking an outstanding Strategic Partnerships Executive to join their team based in Sydney. The key function of this role is to contribute to the generation of sponsorship revenue, and work with the Strategic Partnerships Manager to seamlessly client service all sponsors relating to IMG Fashion events in the region.

 

You will primarily be responsible for:

  • Service sponsors at all Fashion events across the region, with primary focus on Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weekend Edition and the Australian Fashion Laureate.
  • Ensure the successful implementation and delivery of all sponsorship programs and event activations
  • Develop sponsorship proposals, production timelines, sponsor contact lists, sponsor deliverables matrix, post-event reports and other bespoke collateral.
  • Construct and deliver professional emails, phone calls and face-to-face communications to prospect new clients, service existing clients, and renew with clients whose contracts have expired.
  • Leverage existing event content and develop new creative concepts to secure new sponsors and upsell existing partners as required.
  • Work with the Marketing and Production teams to activate pre/at/post event deliverables, including marketing collateral, digital campaigns, marketing collateral, consumer promotions, etc.

Key Attributes:

  • 3+ years’ experience in client facing sales and/or account management, preferably with media, event sponsorship &/or brand activations
  • Strong understanding of sales process, as well as impeccable organizational and client service skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to demonstrate and provide examples from previous sponsor/client servicing experience
  • Tertiary qualification in events/business/marketing/media
  • An interest and passion for the Australian fashion industry
