What is the role?

The Regional Account Manager is responsible for driving growth of thier technologies and services in the Medium Business Segment.

What do I need to do?

  • Acquire New customers & increase market share in the defined territory.
  • Responsible for professionally representing the business and proactively selling its broad range of security solutions and services through their partner community.
  • To identify and pro-actively target Medium Business prospects to drive the adoption of new technologies and services increasing market share in the defined territory.
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy that will exceed sales targets and ensure a high level of customer acquisition, growth, satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop Strategic Account Plans
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations, effectively representing the company
  • Prepare professional proposals having thoroughly understood the customer requirements and by establishing a relevant business solution.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and overcome objections with prospects, customers and partners.
  • Work closely with pre-sales engineers on delivering customer presentations and demonstrations to ensure alignment with sales strategy and customer requirements.
  • Co-ordinate marketing, sales and technical support to ensure a high level of awareness and customer satisfaction in the defined territory.
  • Work closely with retention team on strategic account renewals.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure events and campaigns are aligned with sales strategy and local market demands.
  • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows and seminars as required.

What do I need to have done to do the role?

  • Demonstrate the initiative to uncovers sales opportunities
  • Qualify prospects using a series of questions to determine the prospects fit with produce
  • Make persuasive presentations, excite the prospects with an enthusiastic style
  • Thrives on working to achieve higher results, remains focused on the end goal
  • Spends time partnering with a prospect to understand the prospect’s business.
  • Ability to adapt to different buyer motivations.
  • Ability to engage at the C level in a business benefits discussion.
  • You must possess strong written and verbal communication skills including demonstrable presentation skills, negotiation skills and strong closing ability.
  • Strong Business and Financial Acumen
  • Ability to work autonomously and integrate as part of a remote team.

What experience do I need?

  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience in a sales role
  • Previous experience or exposure selling Security Solutions would be an advantage
  • Previous experience working for a software vendor would be an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Virtualisation and cloud based solutions preferred.
  • Working knowledge of salesforce.com is desirable.
  • Recent proven ability to achieve sales quotas in target market, with a strong desire to succeed.

Offering a highly competetive base salary of $120k plus an OTE $170k + $12k car allowance, gym membership, private healthcare and bonus's on top of OTE.
