We have an immediate need to appoint a new staff member to join us at our Sunshine West Branch. This is a role ideal for someone who wants to have varied work days and learn new skills. Ideally you will live close to the Sunshine West branch location and have your own reliable transport.
Requirements and Experience

- Ability to handle a "multitask" environment and work unsupervised
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with a focus on attention to detail
- An LF forklift ticket is essential
- Must be able to complete yard hand duties including manual orientated tasks when required
- Able to commence immediately – Self Motivated – must want to work
- A good work ethic, attitude, reliable and committed. Current Drivers License and reliable transport. Experience not necessary as training will be provided.The focus of the role will be to be an active participant in the yard and office ensuring that preparation/servicing of equipment prior to or during hire is in accordance with manufacturer and OHS requirements. In conjunction with this you will also be trained in-
- Assist in maintaining effective stock control of assets;
- General maintenance of the yard;
- Repair and maintain equipment to a workable and safe condition;
- Inspect assets and ensure that maintenance and repairs are conducted in a timely manner;
- Answering customer calls
- Processing orders
You must be able to pass a medical which will include a drug test.
