What will I be doing?

As our next Sales Consultant at Smartgroup you’ll be the face of our salary packaging products and services that actually make a difference to people. While you are on the road you will be educating and informing the clients’ employees about the benefits of salary packaging in the work place. You’ll become a master of formulating different ways to interact with these employees through group presentations, 1:1 catch up’s and other innovative and engaging networking sessions. Working with our clients that include Government, Health and Education sectors you’ll also be responsible for;

• Identifying opportunities to increase up take, awareness and generate leads in regards to salary packaging 
• Booking appointments, catch-up’s and knowledge building sessions on client sites
• Networking and building relationships across clients with a view to leading information sessions and educating employees
• Identifying and referring potential cross sell or upsell opportunities internally

What do you need from me?

You’ll have a natural ability to build rapport with people and a passion and belief in the product you’re selling. The results will follow! Ideally you’ll have experience with sales but it’s your ability to build strong and enduring relationships that is a must. Solid time management skills, proven resilience and self-awareness will ensure your success. You must also be passionate about customer service have a current drivers licence and reliable car (Kilometre reimbursement is provided).
