The Company:
We are a global distributor of Commodity and Specialty Chemicals, well respected in the industry. We now seek the assistance of an experienced Business Manager for our Sydney office.
The Role:
Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the growth of a group of assigned products and suppliers within the Nutraceutical sector. You will negotiate price discussing product specifications and more. Using your technical knowledge and superb communication and negotiation skills, you will build our presence in this lucrative sector on a national scale.
The Candidate:
Prerequisites:
- Previous experience and sales and ideally management of suppliers (5+ years) with in the Nutraceutical sector.
- Tertiary Qualification in Chemistry coupled with a technical background
- Ability to build strong supplier relationships.
- Must have an understanding of exchange rates and their impact on imported product from overseas.
- Resilience, self-motivated, willingness to listen/learn.
- Flexibility to meet deadlines
