My client has been heavily immersed in the building and construction market in NSW and has immensely grown its clients’ base over the last 10 years.
Through strategic business planning the company has grown to a size that now requires a creative Business Development Manager to join their existing team.
Role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, your main responsibility will be to develop new opportunities as well as optimize the revenue stream through existing accounts. The split is roughly 70/30 swayed towards the new business.
You will be required to be on the road 80% of your working week, requiring you to communicate with decision makers on the sites throughout the region, getting an understanding of activity levels and requirements current or scheduled.
You
To be considered for this opportunity you must have:
- A good understanding of a technical product and knowledge of how to sell it to a wide range of customers, ranging from project home builders, developers, structural engineers and individual home builders
- Full/clean driving licence
- Experience in lead generation
- Experience with Tenders and proposals
- Good understanding of OH&S
- An understanding of market development
- The ability to work autonomously
- Proven success in sales
In return you will receive a salary from $80-85,000 + car allowance, laptop, phone and a bonus structure that can see you achieve up to $30,000 within your first 12 months.
