Our client is a well established and rapidly growing distributor and wholesaler of premium LED Lighting products across Australia. As they continue to grow they now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our small and friendly team of professionals.
 
Reporting to the General Manager, the key purpose in this role will be to grow your client base and increase sales volume according to company objectives.  This is a mix of phone and road based sales.
 
You will be servicing the wholesale market, lighting retailers through to architects and interior designers.
 
Responsibilities:

• Managing a territory of existing clients
• Setting appointments to meet with new clients
• Face to face presentations/meetings
• General sales reporting and CRM management
• Retention and account management of clients

 
Skills:

• Demonstrated, local experience in a similar B2B role – essential
• Previous experience selling lighting into the above markets – highly regarded
• Well presented and professional
• High level of written and verbal communication skills
• Self motivated and driven
• Target and results focused
• Ability to work autonomously and in a small team environment
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Previous CRM experience
• Current drivers license
• High level of customer service skills
• Positive, friendly personality
