The Role:

This collaborative organisation are looking for a proactive HR Manager to join their Sydney office. The role will involve using your background in HR to help develop and implement new HR procedures, streamline current processes and provide strategic HR advice to the executive team. 

What you’ll do:

  • Apply your knowledge of HR systems to operate both strategically and operationally to support organisational growth across the business in Australia and New Zealand
  • Use your natural, confident communication style to effectively manage interpersonal relationships and to provide strategic advice to the executive team on HR related matters
  • Apply your knowledge of HR systems and databases, to establish, implement and report on human resource metrics
  • Bring your experience in verbal and written communication to prepare high quality written reports, policies and action plans
  • Implement best practice employment law and industrial relations
  • Utilise your experience to manage HR requirements including cyclical HR activities, performance reviews, recruitment and onboarding processes, succession planning, talent development, internal HR software and budget management
What you’ll need:
  • Experience working for a mid-sized company
  • Exposure to the infrastructure environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Employment Law and Industrial Relations
  • Tertiary education in HR or related discipline
  • 4+ years experience in a HR Manager or HR executive role
  • Experience working with business stakeholders in a strong coaching capacity
