Primary purpose of the role
The Recruitment Advisor is responsible for providing recruitment advice and support to Hiring Managers, Candidates and Recruitment Partners on recruitment policies, procedures and requirements throughout the recruitment process.
Key accountabilities
  • Provide recruitment advice and support to Hiring Managers, Candidates and Recruitment Partners on recruitment policies, procedures and requirements and creating Taleo requisitions to ensure Hiring Manager can effectively undertake recruitment and fill capability needs.
  • Provide support throughout the recruitment process including coordinating the candidate selection workflow, online assessments and tasks, interviews, pre-employment screening, medical checks, relevant forms and declarations and candidate feedback as required to ensure a high quality, seamless recruitment process.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees including system administration and reviewing forms ensuring a high level of attention to detail and accuracy and rectifying any issues or errors.
  • Provide support for senior executive recruitment including advertising, pre-employment screening and onboarding activities to ensure an efficient, timely and proactive recruitment service.
  • Coordinate recruitment pool activities including shortlisting, candidate contact, system tracking and matching and general administration to support pipelining activities and recruitment projects that meet future hiring needs.
  • Assist in the delivery of assessment centre activities including coordination, scheduling and administration to support efficient and timely capability based recruitment processes.
  • Provide general administrative duties including system administration, document management, email and phone and other administrative activities as required to support the efficient operation of the unit.
Key challenges
  • Providing a client centric proactive recruitment support service that delivers high levels of customer and candidate satisfaction with the recruitment process.
  • Managing time effectively including balancing stakeholder demands and requirements to ensure work is delivered within the required timeframe.
