My client is a market leader within the wholesale and retail distribution sector, has a unique opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist who will both drive and champion a HR function that will play an increasingly critical role as the organisation continues to evolve. Reporting to the HR Business Partner ANZ, the successful applicant will have the ability to provide general HR support to multiple business units. This role will provide both strategic and operational support to the business.

Key Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Partnering with Retail Market Manager for all Retail staff
• Maintenance and promotion of the Human Resources Information System
• Workplace, Health and Safety policies and practices
• Employee Relations
• General HR enquiries
• Recruitment and utilisation of Talent Acquisition platforms

To be successful in this role you will require:

• Tertiary qualifications in HR or similar
• Strong familiarity with Australian Workplace/Employment Laws
• Ideally have 3 years of experience in an HR role
• The ability to demonstrate business acumen
• The ability to understand and use HR metrics to provide to the business with recommendations.
• Experience in a retail HR role is beneficial, but not required
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
