Holco Fine Meat Suppliers is a specialist meat wholesaler catering for the Food Service and Wholesale sector. Our varied client base includes butchers, supermarkets, clubs, hotels, restaurants and institutional business.
This continued growth within our divisions has created a new opportunity for an experienced Work Health & Safety Officer to assist our Senior Work Health Safety Officer at our head office in the northern suburbs.
Main responsibilities include;
- Assist and provide WHS advice to all site personnel
- Maintain safety management manuals and registers
- Support Senior WHS Officer and Management in establishing and maintaining WHS practices and compliance
- Assist and review all incident reports and conduct necessary investigations to resolve findings
- Conduct site specific Risk Assessments
- Ensure company compliance to WHS Legislation
- Assist with staff training in WHS for staff development
- Maintain applicable recording systems in relation to compliance
- Maintain internal policies and procedures to industry and legislative standards
Preferred skills/ experience includes;
- Certificate 4 or Diploma in WHS
- 2 years' experience in relevant role or may suit a recent graduate
- Advanced computer application and user skills
- Highly organised and detail oriented
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience in the Meat Industry will be well regarded but not necessary

Salary will be negotiated depending on relevant skills and experience.
