About Orange Sky Australia

Orange Sky Australia (OSA) is a not-for-profit organisation focussed on the provision of free laundry, and now showers to people experiencing homelessness. Through a network of vans and with the help of over 1,200 volunteers across Australia, our mobile service is a catalyst for positive, genuine conversation. We’re driven, dedicated, insanely ambitious and a little unconventional. We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. We work hard and ‘get it done’, but always make time to celebrate each other’s success.

The Role

We're growing, and fast. Since 2014, we've expanded our reach to every capital city across Australia. We need people who live, love and breathe Orange Sky on board this crazy spin cycle. Continuous learning and improvement is a core OSA value; you’ll be responsible for coordinating the learning and development for over 1,200 staff and volunteers across Australia in this brand new role:

  • Identifying learning and development needs and opportunities for staff and volunteers
  • Coordination of the effective design, development and review of OSA learning packages
  • Both facilitate the delivery of OSA learning packages and liaise with external training providers to meet learning and development needs
  • Actively promote and encourage participation in training sessions, and maintaining records of training attendance

Who are we looking for?

You'll have experience in a similar role within a fast-paced organisation, ideally experienced in the unique demands of the the not-for-profit sector. 

Additionally, the missing piece to our puzzle has:

  • Tertiary qualifications relevant to training package development and delivery, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in coordination and delivery of learning and delivery packages
  • The ability to travel inter and intrastate as required
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate with a highly diverse range of people.
