As a Senior HRBP you will be leading a National HR Team consisting of 1 direct report and 3 indirect reports. 




Key responsibilities 

  • Lead and motivate a team of business-focused professionals
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships based on credibility and open communication
  • Take a coaching approach and assist with providing management leadership to facilitate effective and consistent management 
  • Lead, guide and empower management/employees to increase responsibility for all aspects of people management
  • Work in partnership with the Senior HR Manager to identify the people implications of strategic business growth plans and other developments
  • Facilitate effective workforce planning to identify the capacity and capability of the business to deliver its objectives
  • Design a strong workforce and provide advice on programs and their capabilities to ensure future operating models are achieved
  • Provide professional advice at a strategic and operational level on the interpretation of HR policies and procedures, employment legislation, recruitment strategies and managing change processes
  • Provide strategic partnership and design and implement effective people plans for both short and long term business outcomes 
  • Work towards resolutions for complex employee relations issues with a focus on risk and compliance 
  • Assist with end-to-end recruitment and onboarding when required
  • Support employee engagement, performance management and retention strategies across the business
  • Drive key strategic initiatives that support leadership development and capability build of people leaders and significant individual contributors

Skills and experience

  • Significant functional expertise in Business Partnering and/or HR Leadership
  • Demonstrated experience successfully leading organisations through large scale change and transformation
  • Strong business and commercial acumen 
  • HR, Business or relevant qualification 
  • Broad HR generalist experience across all functions including; recruitment and selection, performance management, organizational development, talent and succession planning, change management employee relations, remuneration & benefits and HR reporting
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships and influence at all levels
  • Strong consulting skills with the ability to understand true needs and to implement effective solutions
  • Results and quality focused
