Rate: $50 per hour + super
My large NSW Government client is seeking to hire an experienced and driven Recruitment Consultant to join a dynamic and supportive team.
Formally the contract expires at the end of September, but it will get extended for the right candidate.

Your main responsibilities will be:
- Undertake processes to ensure accurate selection activity and reporting in accordance with policy and legislation
- Assist with coordination of recruitment campaigns and develop recruitment plans to ensure workforce requirements of the business unit are met
- Ensure all vacancies are filled with the suitable candidates within the targeted time
- Work with managers to identify recruitment and supply trends and develop strategies to address these proactively
- Provide advice on policy and procedural issues related to recruitment and selection process
- Check correctness of information at each stage of the recruitment process in relation to candidates and outcomes
- Prepare standard and ad hoc reports and provide recommendations for action as appropriate
- Building the skills of the team to attain and maintain a culture of professionalism and customer focus
To be successful for the role you need to have:
- Experience and knowledge of the recruitment function with proven capacity to work within applicable legislation and policy
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills to use computer based recruitment systems
- Sound analytical and problem solving skills with evidence of the capacity to make balanced and ethical judgements
- Demonstrated time management and prioritising skills with proven capacity to meet deadlines
- Experience in the Government sector and with TALEO system are preferred
