We have a truly rare opportunity for an experienced Safety Coordinator to implement and maintain the delivery of WHS across Scholastic.

Based at Lisarow, this role is a hands-on support partner to the operations team and coordinates the overall safety of the site.

The role will be have specific functional responsibility for all aspects of Workplace Health and Safety including:

• Working closely with the Operations Team to implement and maintain all aspects of the organisation's health and safety system.
• Completing and documenting risk assessments.
• Implementing and reviewing our safe work procedures across our business.
• Coordinating and leading our health and safety consultation and communication.
• Developing and implementing structured safety training and awareness.

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

• You will have substantial WHS implementation experience and qualifications ideally within a distribution environment.
• You will be hands on and practical in your approach.
• You will be current with all relevant workplace legislation.
• You will also have proven relationship-building, influencing and consultative skills across all levels.
• You will have demonstrated experience in the ongoing development and implementation of the overall WHS management system.
