About the team
The EDDI unit is responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of our industry leading information and knowledge management platform. The Electronic Document and Data Interface (EDDI) is specifically built to meet the needs of the child and family welfare sector. It was first developed in house to provide MacKillop with a centralised and connected enterprise system and is now operating in over 30 similar organisations across the sector.
About the role
MacKillop is currently seeking an innovative Coordinator - eLearning Development and Training who will work closely with the development team to analyse learning needs and develop a mix of eLearning resources. These resources will have a clear focus that encourages users across the sector to better understand the system, promoting best practice of its utilisation. In this fast-paced role, the coordinator will have responsibility for the development of training materials for internal and external stakeholders, as well as training delivery for various process improvement projects.
This is a fixed-term, full time position that will be primarily based in our Head Office located in South Melbourne. Some travel may be required.
Key responsibilities
- Attend pre-implementation meetings with Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts and other department managers to identify business workflows and requirements
- Develop Training Materials and eLearning programs by working independently and with consultation with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain and update training materials and eLearning programs when system enhancements occur
About you
You will be very tech savvy, coupled with extensive experience in training content and e-Learning development, as well as in the analysis, design and delivery of successful training programs. With a passion for helping others achieve their full potential through delivery of training systems, the successful applicant will also have a strong attention to detail and be able to build proactive relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Other criteria to be considered for the role include:
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in learning technologies & using software packages to produce web-based courses and other applications (e.g. MOOCs, webinar production and hosting)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment essential
- Experience with Articulate Storyline 2, Captivate or similar
- Extensive experience in content and eLearning development for ERP/CRM solutions
- Experience in the analysis, design and delivery of successful training programs
