A leading service provider to the insurance and manufacturing industries, this successful and established Australian company continues to grow and expand into new areas. To support this growth, they are seeking a Health & Safety professional to join their team.
Working closely with Business Managers at each location, your role will be varied and include:
- Reviewing and updating company policies and practices to reflect current WHS best practice
- Facilitate WHS training, ensuring compliance including regular evaluation of licences
- Manage workplace incident investigation processes
- Assist with performance reviews and accompanying salary and benefits advice
- Ensure the integrity of the recruitment process is maintained including updating employee records with all relevant checks and licences
- Undertake any additional WHS / HR projects as required.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be an experienced WHS Practitioner, holding relevant tertiary qualifications
- Have prior experience, ideally in a service or manufacturing environment
- 3-4 years in a WHS Coordinator role
- Enjoy building strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, offering support and technical guidance as required
- Have a flexible approach including the availability to travel within Australia as required.
