As a senior member of the HR team you will be involved in developing and implementing the Human Resources strategy and plans. In addition, you will also be a senior business partner delivering Human Resources solutions to the business through daily operational support.

Description

• Providing high level coaching, advice and support to senior management, line managers and employees on HR related matters.
• End to end recruitment and selection, HR policy interpretation, industrial relations legislation, organisational design, work health and safety, remuneration and benefits, performance management, employee grievances, overseas visa applications, worker’s compensation claims, learning and development and other related HR fields.
• Taking a pro-active approach to business requirements, by working closely with the Head of HR, managers and understanding business issues.
• Assist the Head of HR and team in ensuring that all HR tasks are completed in accordance with department and company guidelines and within agreed timelines.
• Assist in the preparation of any reports to government authorities (e.g. APRA, ABS, EOWA reports).
• Play an important and senior role in the Learning and Development process of the branch. This may include delivering presentations, managing administrative processes, and supporting the business with new learning and development initiatives
• Leading and participating in HR and strategic business projects to deliver HR solutions to the business.
• Reviewing existing HR Policies and processes, revising or formulating additional policies and processes as required.

Profile

• Experience in financial/professional services is essential
• Worked in a corporate and large brand
• Articulate, professional and a true generalist
