Campbelltown Catholic Club is the premier entertainment and leisure destination in South Western Sydney and is one of the largest Clubs in NSW with a membership of around 55,000. This multi award-winning club has diverse businesses delivering services in gaming, food & beverage, fitness & leisure, hotel accommodation, conferencing and exhibitions, entertainment and golf.
The club are currently seeking a Human Resource Professional to assist in ensuring the key requirements of the HR function of the Club are maintained to the highest level. The club is looking to employ this HR Generalist with a commencement of around mid to end of September and will be reporting directly to the General Manager - People & Culture. Your role will oversee the HR function of their large workforce of over 360.
Responsibilities and Duties will include:
- Assisting in general HR Administration duties across the business
- Responsibility for all areas of WHS, Workers Comp and Rehab Management (RTW)
- Managing the recruitment process including advising and assisting managers on recruitment strategies
- Being the first point of contact for HR related queries
- Continuing to improve all HR systems, operational policies & procedures
- Assisting with initiatives to improve team engagement
- Managing HR technological infrastructure
- Coordinating staff inductions and exit interviews
- Assisting in management appraisals
- Driving staff appraisal frameworks
- Managing the Rewards and Recognition Program
- Coordinating the staff uniform function
- Assisting the GM of People and Culture with organisation and scheduling
- Assisting with information sharing for the staff newsletter
- Provide generalist HR support

Ideally you will possess:
- Educational studies in HRM, WHS & RTW
- Experience in similar generalist role
- Professional presentation and approach
- Ability to maintain sensitivity and confidentiality
- Confident communication skills
