We are looking for experienced learning and development professional to join us in Melbourne or Sydney at Senior Consultant or Director level (5-10 years of relevant experience).

About the role

• Participate in client interviews with senior business executives to develop an understanding of their company's key business, people-related and and cultural challenges and the levers for driving success
• Design and project manage learning programs linked to strategy and business priorities, drawing upon your own skills, knowledge and structured information gathering from key stakeholders within each client
• Desing and facilitate workshops and seminars, often to senior executives, to develop leadership capability, business acumen and other key capabilities necessary to drive success in today's rapidly changing business environment
• Work in several accounts including helping in establishing and maintaining long term relationships with clients
• Help clients address needs within their organisation and identify new sales opportunities for BTS
• Collaborate with small internal teams to help design and build customised business and leadership simulations and other discovery-based learning solutions
• Work in multiple projects simultaneously with leading clients across varying industries

Skills and experience

• An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in business, organisational psychology, learning and development or other relevant discipline
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a human capital consulting environment; or working in learning and development, leadership development or instructional design; or corporate experience leading teams
• Excellent communication and confident presentation skills and fluency in English. Knowledge of another language will be looked upon favorably, but is not a requirement
• Interest in strategy, leadership, organizational culture, project management and consultative selling; experience in these areas is a plus
• Executive presence and outstanding facilitation skills
• Strong analytical skills and excellent ability to synthesise complex information to create effective solutions for clients
• Willingness to travel locally and overseas as needed (10 – 50% of the time
• And above all – curiosity to understand our clients and how to help them get better results, faster and to help their people to do the best work of their lives
