LabourCo are excited to invite applications from experienced Recruiters as we are looking for the right person to lead our Candidate Care activities within the business in 2018 and beyond.  This is a permanent position working within our Newcastle based office.

 

The successful applicant will be keen to work closely with LabourCo’s candidates and established clients, with the support of Recruitment Resourcers, Business Development Manager, WHS Advisor, After Hours support and a full Finance and Payroll team!    

 

You can prosper and enjoy getting back to doing what you do best – harnessing the potential of PEOPLE – because payroll collation, undertaking client site safety reviews and new business development are not requirements of this position!!!

 

You will bring local knowledge and be happy to adapt to generalist recruitment, however our candidate and client base is centred on Blue Collar recruitment.  Initially, candidate engagement will be the core of your role, attracting, screening, interviewing, placing, supporting and bringing great candidates to the attention of our clients is the goal!  Additionally, you will build strong relationships via outstanding account management and service to our established clients, so your confidence and skill in building rapport with key client stakeholders will be proven in your previous positions.

 

Essential Criteria

  • Previous recruitment experience with several years of experience in an internal or agency based role.
  • Proven ability to nurture business relationships and manage key accounts.
  • Whilst traditional 360 recruiter sales functions are not a requirement, you will have experience initiating and identifying leads for our BDM, via your networking with candidates and client contacts.
  • You are most satisfied when working in a supportive, non-competitive team and can demonstrate that you are self-motivated, honest and driven – you get excited when you a part of a team who works in sync!
  • You will have strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise your work load, always demonstrating that your candidates and clients are just as important each other.
  • A commitment to the safety of candidates, and to company WHS systems and initiatives will be evidenced by your previous experience.
  • You will be 100% committed to accurate and thorough data input to Client Relationship Management Systems, with advanced skills in the use of the Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook programs.
  • Drivers Licence (and own reliable vehicle) and White Card, with the ability to pass pre-employment physical functional assessment and drug and alcohol screening.

 

Desirable Criteria

  • Industry experience in construction, transport, logistics, warehousing, civil, construction, utilities, technical and/or trade industrial sectors.
  • Previous experience in coaching, mentoring or leading resourcing staff.
