About the opportunity

Our Asia Pacific business is experiencing a period of sustained growth with a number of high profile projects being delivered across the APACMEI region and we have a strong pipeline of technically challenging work in hand.  We are keen to find a TA Specialist to partner with our Southern Leadership team and continue building a high level of service as we grow across a number of sectors in VIC/TAS.  TA operates as an APACMEI team and whilst your focus will be on the VIC/TAS business, you can expect to remotely support and deliver the following types of roles across the broader region:

  • Transport Infrastructure; Road, Rail, Aviation and Ports
  • Built Environment; Architecture and Building Services specialising in Hospitals, Education and/or Defence sectors
  • Water and Environment; EIS, Planning, Cultural Heritage, Contaminated Land and a range of specialty disciplines
  • Energy and Information; Generation, Distribution, Renewables and Studies

About you

The TA Specialist will be responsible for all contractor and staff resourcing, working across all levels in VIC/TAS.  Ideally you should be experienced working with leadership and management to understand business growth strategies and provide input from a resourcing perspective and then develop and implement strategies to attract and engage talented people to support the business.  This is a hands on role.  

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • Experience with sourcing passive candidates at all levels from either an agency, RPO or in-house recruitment environment
  • Proven track record in identifying and sourcing talent in a competitive skills shortage market. Experience recruiting engineering & environmental skills is highly regarded but not essential
  • Sound digital / social media sourcing techniques including internet research and social media skills and strong expertise in maximising the use of LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Experience with training and coaching hiring managers would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of working with an ATS and exploiting functionality to improve recruitment practices is preferred
  • Highly focused on candidate engagement and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.

We will consider candidates with a few years experience or recruiters already operating at that senior level, who prefer to remain in a specialist role.

You will be part of a regional Buildings Infrastructure and Advanced Facilities Talent Acquisition Team with TA Leads in the Asia Pacific, Middle East and India regions.  It's an opportunity to make a region your own and be a part of a new team structure following a recent acquisition.
