We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic HR & LD Coordinator to join our team on a  6-month (full time) contract role. This position will be based in the heart of the Sydney CBD.

 

About the Role

As the HR & Learning and Development Coordinator you will provide high-level administration and coordination for all HR and Recruitment related activities as well as provide administrative support for some confidential, time constrained HR projects. You will also be supporting the activities of the Learning & Development team, providing administrative assistance, as and where required.

Your stakeholders throughout the business will expect a fast turnaround of any tasks given, and expect the HR and L&D Coordinator to have a friendly, open and approachable manner. You will not be shy building and maintaining key relationships, to ensure you can complete your tasks as quickly and as efficiently as possible. Face to face interaction is key in this role. As a representative of the respected HR team, we are committed to providing an unparalleled excellent level of confidentiality.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinating the internal recruitment life-cycle
  • General HR Administration
  • Administrative support to the HR Manager along with providing support on high level projects
  • Provide administrative support to the L&D team and help coordinate any new internal learning initiatives.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Ability to use initiative, adaptability, flexibility and be able to work collaboratively in a particularly fast paced environment
  • Experience working with multiple managers
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience formatting business documents and presentations
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Impeccable confidentiality is a pre-requisite
  • Ability to proofread documents and cross-reference relatedness between issues
  • Able to take instruction and apply knowledge to tasks effectively
  • Professional phone and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional, friendly and approachable

 

Minimum Experience Required:

  • HR or L&D background desired, but not essential
  • A well rounded administrative professional with at least 2 years’ experience in an administrative support/coordinator role.
