CBD location next to train station. 3 days per week. ASAP start until October to assist in getting ready for their audit.
The 3 days or 24 hours are flexible. The key part of this role is to ready this government organisation for audit - which is happening in October - so experience in a government audit is preferable.
Ideally a Health or government background would be ideal as understanding the legislative requirements for the role will be important.
You will
• Monitor compliance and implement and monitor safe work practices in conjunction with employees and managers
• Provide information and training
• Monitor incident/accident data and provide reports
• Provide coordination for WHS committee members and participate in professional development activities
• To establish communication and negotiate with senior managers, manual handling staff and WHS committee members
This is an ideal role for someone wanting part-time. It is only a 3-minute walk from Central Station.
The successful person must stay for the entire duration of the assignment.
A police check will be required.
