This awesome opportunity will not only see you working with one of Sydney's most established digital agencies but will also give you the platform to develop and further your career with a business thatThis role focuses on implementation, from media planning right through to execution, in response to a client brief and with a direct commercial outcome from both the client and agency based on achieving results. You will identify which media platforms and channels are best suited to the clients brand or product objectives. The Media Planner enables clients to maximise the impact of their advertising campaigns through the use of a range of media models - direct, managed service (through AdTechvendors), Programmatic and other specialised services such as SEO/SEM and Social, all offered in-house.
Responsibilities:
- Simultaneously work across a number of varied projects
- Working with a variety of clients, understanding their business objectives and advertising strategy
- Undertake research and analyse data using specialist industry resources/planning and buying tools
- Identify target audiences and analyse their characteristics, behaviors and media habits
- Make decisions on the best form of media - channel and tactics as well as best ad formats for specific client and campaigns
- Liaise with media owners, AdTech vendors, creative agency team and in-house trading and specialist teams in SEO/SEM and Social to develop media strategy, proposals, and campaign plans.
You will:
- Have applied knowledge of media and communication platforms to identify the most appropriate mediums
- Be able to coordinate and help a multi-disciplined team to deliver campaign requirements
- Preferably have 3-5 years experience planning and buying digital and traditional media, as well as managing client relationshipsKnowledge of current and technologies that facilitate programmatic media buying
- Have agency workflow/process knowledge
- Have advanced knowledge of industry planning/measurement tools and their application to campaign strategy
