Seven West Media’s Creative department is seeking a highly motivated, proactive, hard-working junior journalist to join our team in a full-time, entry-level position. The role will suit recent journalism or communications graduates.
We produce work for the advertising department including resources and business publications and supplements and liftouts. The job involves advertorial writing, feature writing and online sponsored content, as well as some social media.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, solid interview, research and writing abilities, a strong work ethic and the capacity to maintain high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment. Subediting skills advantageous.
Reporting to the department’s manager and editor, and working within a team of writers and graphic designers, we’re looking for a team player who displays exceptional organisational, multitasking and time management skills to effectively work to multiple deadlines daily.
A journalism/communications qualification is essential. Business/resources writing experience will be highly regarded.
