So tell me about the role!

This is a rare opportunity to take on a key senior role within a long-standing, multi multi award winning agency. They have a healthy mix of local, national and international clients and produce every kind of advertising/marketing material that you can think of. You will be leading a team of talented, passionate creatives who work hard to wow their clients with the latest digital goodies.

That encompasses everything from largescale, complex web builds, to apps, eDMs, Marketing Automation, SEO, Microsites and Strategy

What you will be doing day to day:

• managing projects from start to finish, from planning through to delivery and maintenance
• managing the scope of projects
• Often working with a team on one key account, but also working alongside other PMs
• Creating and managing schedules
• Generating and managing project documentation
• Overseeing an eclectic bunch of highly talented individuals, ensuring that everyone knows what they are doing and where things are up to
• Shifting and adapting to an ever-changing, fast-moving environment
• Potentially reprioritising workloads and as much as possible converting grumbling to cheering as your team rolls with the punches

So what sort of experience/attributes are we looking for?

• Prior experience with managing and controlling; project scope, schedule, budget and resources
• Resource management/reporting and change management experience
• A strong technical head with experience managing the array of digital builds listed above – Websites, Microsites, apps, eDMs etc
• Someone who thrives working in a  fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• The ability to accurately forecast revenue and resource needs on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
• Excellent communication/influencing skills – you will be working alongside Account Managers, liaising with other PMs, ensuring that your team are delivering whilst still having fun. You will also be dealing with senior stakeholders both internally and on the client side
• The ability to understand and connect with your team members. You need to be able to develop strong relationships so that when the going gets tough you will know how to get the best out of everyone whilst ensuring that team morale remains high
• Strong leadership skills/experience
• The special ability to multitask, maintain timelines, sense check how your team is feeling, motivate where needed, contribute energy, take part in and inspire fun on the job, all whilst keeping a level head
• Demonstrated experience with Project Management concepts

Whilst this role is demanding and you will be a key player (hence have significant responsibility), you will have the pleasure of working with a really talented team who all 'get it'.
