The Account Director – Brand Experience will be responsible for working closely with Business Director in the ongoing strategic development, execution and management of Experiential and Promotional Campaigns and in strategic development of the agency’s experiential and promotional capabilities, by developing relationships with existing clients and forging new relationships with potential clients.

This opportunity is a 12 month fixed term role, with the potential of extension or permanency.

The role

Directly reporting to the Business Director, the Account Director – Brand Experience will play a pivotal role in managing the overall project process from initial client brief through to completion. You will liaise with the client on a regular basis and work closely with design and operations teams to ensure projects are completed to brand, on budget and on time. This role will involve support on new and existing business pitches, working alongside the Senior Management Team and developing the business plan for the year ahead across this division.

The Account Director will also have 3 direct line reports to support in the development of campaign that deliver of exceptional brand experiences to consumers.

  • Responsible for event project management and business for one the World’s largest Consumer Electronic brands
  • To manage project in cost management, planning, concept, design, technical, procurement, production, logistics, and maintenance/operation
  • Manage Team Financial: forecasting, budgeting, invoicing and anything related
  • Managing events including venue and any promotional requirements (including operations and logistics)
  • Ensure a tactical plan for business growth with experiential capability is in place
  • Manage all direct reports and resource allocation
  • Manage and maintain strategic overview of account, and proactively advise client on new issues and resolution options
  • Contribute to client marketing strategy and thinking
  • Strategically lead the project-related work including process and schedule management
  • Set a yearly revenue goal with Business Director and review performance by the financial goal

About you

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing (or similar)
  • At least 8 years + previous experiential management experience within a marketing agency or team (preferred)
  • Strong marketing planning and execution knowledge
  • Exceptional local knowledge of event management in Australia
  • Strong financial competencies and business development skills
