Cricket Australia (CA) is one of the nation’s premier sporting bodies, with a vision for cricket to be Australia’s favourite sport. Operating within the sports and entertainment industry, CA is responsible for overseeing and developing cricket on a national level. 
 
You are a solutions-focussed, customer oriented individual with exceptional relationship management skills and a passion for the media and sport industries.
 
Reporting to the Broadcast Manager, the Broadcast Coordinator will assist in the implementation of CA’s broadcast and radio agreements.  The role supports the Host Broadcasters requirements and will be critical broadcast and Media Rights liaisons for both internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for project managing broadcast operations, implementing key obligations of CA’s broadcast rights agreements and stakeholder management to support Host Broadcast match coverage and other Rights Holder requirements.
 
Key responsibilities:
 
• You will support the day-to-day relationships, through direct contact with our broadcast partners
• You will work with Cricket Australia functional areas, venues and other key stakeholders on operational requirements
• You will keep documents up to date and accurate, review processes and complete reviews/debriefs, ensuring a high level of delivery is maintained documents up to date and accurate
• You will ensure client expectations are exceeded and costs are adhered to, keeping basic financial tracking
• Set up performance metrics, track and review on a regular basis
 
You will be able to build effective relationships, possess strong time management, ability to prioritise and superior communication skills.  You have exceptional attention to detail, the proven ability to manage expectations and liaise with high profile individuals, as well as the ability to create strong working relationships in a short space of time.
 
The 2 year fixed term position requires an excellent understanding of news, media relations and the broader media landscape, superior writing skills, a proven track record in effectively managing the needs of a variety of clients with high expectations. With a flexible attitude and a professional, mature approach, you will flourish working under pressure and have the passion to ensure Cricket Australia’s high standards are supported and achieved.   A high level of Interstate travel will be required during the cricket season.
