About the role
A business analyst / digital designer is needed to work with the Digital Delivery Team on high-priority digital projects in our federal government client’s growing team.
Key areas of focus include user research, process mapping and analysis, stakeholder liaison, testing and UX & UI design.
You will be part of a small in-house Design Team working within a multi-disciplinary Digital Delivery Team, which includes developers and delivery officers. You will work with a range of internal and external users.
You will develop requirements from discovery and ideation to delivery through user-based research, workshops, story boards, prototyping and other methods.
Essential skills and experience
- Experience conducting user research through interviews, workshops, analytics and surveys, and the ability to explain simple and complex ideas to a range of users.
- Experience with UX modelling methods such as personas, user journeys, storyboards and process diagrams
- Experience in developing wireframes and prototypes, applying consistent design patterns
- Experience working in an agile environment; working with multidisciplinary teams, participating in agile ceremonies, evaluating services through retrospectives, continuous improvement through testing and iteration, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work to achieve deadlines
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to create structure in an unstructured environment
Nice-to-have skills and experience
- Experience in research and design activities for development of a case management system or a similar workflow system
