Technical Business Analyst | Agile | Investment Markets technology

Responsibilities will include:

• Interface with teams and stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements, undertake analysis and contribute to design of end-to-end business processes
• AS-IS analysis and TO-BE modelling
• Solutions investigation and mapping
• Strong technical knowledge with the ability to develop technical requirements and specifications
• Producing business requirements, functional and technical specifications
• Producing thorough documentation and project reviews
• Support the team to adapt to business process or technology changes

You will have: 

3 years+ experience in an IT business analyst role including requirements elicitation and definition, leading the team and workshops, coordinate with other management and employees to ensure delivery is met with business requirements. Experience of working on projects in both day to day finance operations, and new systems projects and changes, within Agile and Waterfall practices.

• Exposure to middle office or back office systems analysis (preferably both)
• Strong process and data flow mapping ability
• Enthusiastic, confident and professional approach with good written and verbal communication skills
• Build productive relationships with stakeholders and colleagues
• Strong team player
• Banking Experience Preferred 

Technical Specialist Skills:

• Strong problem solving and gap analysis skills, excellent eye for detail
• SQL queries
• Project tracking (eg. JIRA) knowledge would be an advantage
• Be confident in learning new financial products, businesses and operational processes
• Planning & Organising workshops and stand ups
• Ability to manage priorities and resources to effectively deal with changes in demand
• Exposure to Agile environments is essential
