Due to exponential growth in the Asia Pacific region we have created a new role of Business Development Manager to be based from Australia, supporting growth in Australia, New Zealand and the wider Asia Pacific portfolio when required. This person will be key to selling critical building infrastructure and ICT maintenance services to existing and new customers. 
  • To negotiate and successfully close sales opportunities to meet and exceed agreed sales targets within the target markets
  • Generate tenders and relevant document preparation, using the specialist support functions (procurement, HR, QHS) as well as local managers and the Group Sales Director. 
  • Raise the company and business profile by representing CBRE at industry events, high level networking and promoting an image of professionalism at all times.
  • Has full ownership of global Real Estate outsourcing financial modeling and regional outsourcing pursuits. Manages the creation of proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials with the pursuit team and national/local marketing professionals, as directed by Executive Leader. 
  • Must be flexible to work outside core office hours from time to time, and to travel across the APAC region if required.
Desired skills and experience
  • Strong track record of success in winning new business, demonstrated knowledge of the Data Center market, and the ability to influence all organizational levels - including the ability to develop credibility and trust quickly with C-Level executives/decision makers.
  • Recognised qualification within the engineering/technical sector is ideal along with a strong education background
  • Extensive experience in the data center market and developing outsourcing solutions, pricing and org development models preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred. Experience working with large data sets and decipher multiple types of RFP models preferred.
