An organisation based in the Sutherland Shire area is looking for a Web Developer with a strong Magento background to join their professional and dynamic team. The successful candidate will be focusing on the development and maintenance of company sites, as well as new and existing projects. You will be communicating internally with the various divisions and staff of the organisation.
Essential requirements:- 4 years experience in a similar role, with proven experience working with Magento.
- Able to take ownership of projects from conception to delivery, including: planning, designing, developing, testing, deploying, and documenting.
- Able to design and develop automated solutions to manual business processes.
- Able to work with PHP frameworks including Magento & Wordpress
- Able to develop and maintain data integration between the internal IT systems and the online website.
- Able to extend the capabilities of existing applications.
- Extensive experience with PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, and API Integration.
- Experience in developing and maintaining existing Magento and Wordpress websites.
- An understanding of cloud servers - AWS/Rackspace experience.
- Knowledge of server security.
- Object-oriented development experience.
- MySQL Database development and administration experience.
- Experience in developing new functionality.
- Experience in the maintenance of existing code.
- Experience with Bootstrap.
- Experience with Open Source Projects such as TCPDF.
- Linux and Nginx experience.
- Completion of a relevant IT degree/qualification is preferred.
