Revolution IT is a growing, successful and progressive consultancy specialising in software testing, enterprise applications, business analysis and project management.
We are currently looking for multiple Dev Ops Engineers to be deployed on a high profile client project in Canberra.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that applications are designed, developed, deployed and maintained in alignment with infrastructure capabilities and operational considerations.
- Working with a large set of stakeholders across IT Solutions and IT Operations you will ensure applications are released in an orderly manner across environments.
- Undertaking the planning, design, build, configuration and testing of software to create a set of release components for a live environment.
- You will be responsible for the administration, optimization and outputs delivered by the process.
This is a hands-on, multi-skilled role that touches release engineering, environment support, infrastructure, automation and development.
The be successful, you must demonstrate the following:
- At least 1 year release management experience with complex large scale IT systems
- Hands on experience with Windows Systems Administration and/or Linux Administration
- At least 2+ years development experience in .Net (ASP.NET/C#) or JAVA
- Strong SQL Server or Oracle database knowledge
- Strong understanding of the SDLC
- Experience in NUnit, JUnit and/or other unit and automated testing tools
- Strong Software build and packaging experience
- Knowledge of server, network, storage, application or virtualization technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing demands for resources.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills are essential
