Innovative Software Company, working in a niche area are looking at implementing / upgrading various systems due to high growth and are seeking a strong and dynamic Project Manager to work closely with the Project Sponsor. You will have an applications background and will oversee the implementation of a new billing and finance system, ensuring seamless integration with their main product. They are also looking to upgrade Salesforce CRM which this person will also project manage.

Working in an agile environment, this will suit someone with previous Agile experience. You will need to have a dynamic, hit the ground running type of personality.

Responsibilities

• End to end project management, utilizing Agile principles
• Create a strategic plan including scheduling, scope, costs, time and associated risks.
• Consistently track the project and assess if objectives are being met on time
• Be involved in end to end implementation from planning stage to support.
• Lead project, assigning tasks and take into account resource availability
• Guide business through transition process
• Proactively managing risks and issues, conducting risk reviews and mitigation planning for each transition
• Working with BAs on user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Conducting post implementation review
• Ensuring daily actions on transition project plan are completed.
• Clear and concise stakeholder communication.

Required skills:

• 5-10 years’ experience as a Project Manager
• Experience working within an Agile environment
• Ability to navigate an ambiguous environment
• Experience working on multiple projects
• Understanding of a project management lifecycle and associated processes

This role is an initial 6 month day rate contract role, paying up to approximately $1000 / day and will start ASAP. They are based at fantastic offices based in the heart of Surry Hills and provide food and drink, in a very modern / trendy office space.

You will have experience working in a growing company / start up environment or be looking for that exposure and experience.
