You will be a part of a Cloud Adoption Program, Hybrid Cloud Project. The role requires you to be hands-on as a Build, Release, DevOps Engineer in a large complex environment. The ideal candidate will have over two years of experience with Amazon Web Services and/or Microsoft Azure. A track record of high performance in Agile project environments. As well as experience in writing clearly and developing technical documentation 

Scripting and CI/CD tools:

• PowerShell 
• PowerShell Desired State Configuration (DSC)

Platform:

• Demonstrated experience working in a complex Windows environment 
• Demonstrated experience working in a Linux environment – Desirable 

Azure and AWS environment:

• Microsoft Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and/or AWS CloudFormation 
• Proficient in invoking cloud-based APIs, such as RESTful interfaces

Automation and orchestration tools: 
Experience with one of the following platforms: 

• Microsoft Azure Automation 
• AWS OpsWorks 
• Other tools 

Source code management:

• Familiarity with source code management tools such as Git, Apache Subversion (SVN) or Microsoft Team Foundation Server for Version Control (TFVC) - Desirable 

Networking and Security:

• Knowledge and experience with AWS and Azure Cloud Security, firewalls, encryption, identity and access management
• Understanding of cloud availability and scalability including load balancers and application gateways
