THE ROLE

This role is a key part of the Premier Technology Solutions (PTS) service team. This includes receiving, taking ownership of and actively resolving end user support requests whilst striving to deliver the highest level of customer service in line with PTS's brand promise of providing the best customer service available in the industry.

You will be expected to be able to support the following technologies:

  • MS Windows Server 2008 - 2012 R2
  • Exchange Server 2010 - 2013 / Exchange Online
  • SQL Server (Basic tasks such as backups, restores and permissions)
  • Hyper-V & VMWare Administration
  • Medium Networking Skills (Routing / NAT / VLAN)
  • Desktop Support (Office / Client Applications)

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The key qualities of the perfect candidate include:

  • A warm and professional phone manner with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Ability to genuinely connect with, understand and help people.
  • An aptitude for technology.
  • Attention to detail and a pride in quality of work.
  • A strong desire & motivation to grow and develop.
  • A good sense of humour!
  • The ability to think on your feet and pick things up quickly.
  • Demonstrated academic ability in the IT industry (TAFE or Univ. Qualification)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with a ticketing system for job management.
  • Australian Permanent Resident.
  • Strong table tennis skills (not strictly essential, but nice to have!)
