Job description

An exciting opportunity as DevOps Engineer, working collaboratively across platforms and delivery teams to set up and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines.

What we expect from you?

• Bachelor's degree in an IT related discipline is preferred.
• Commercial experience working as a DevOps Engineer in either a delivery team or in a DevOps Engineering team.
• Experience as a Developer working in a team environment.
• Experience with continuous integration systems such as Jenkins and TFS; as well as source control systems, GitHub, Git, TFS or similar.
• Experience administrating continuous deployment scripts and systems such as Octopus Deploy, Azure Resource Manager, AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong experience in scripting languages defining and managing software build scripts, (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ruby); database technologies and SQL Server.
• Working experience scaling build and deployment systems through on premise and cloud environments.
• Knowledge of SDLC principles and methodologies including Agile, Kanban, Continuous Delivery.
• Knowledge and use in managing virtualised infrastructure and platform services such as AWS EC2, AWS CloudFront, AWS RDS, AWS S3, AWS ELB, Azure SQL, Azure Load Balancer, Azure services.
