CHM is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic designer who will work directly with our graphic design team to plan, design and build our company and client websites. You will be able to take a strategic approach to develop a website based on specific client brand guidelines.
You will be the lead in all things design and web development, utilise premium WordPress themes, plugins and with customisation using child-theme to satisfy requirements.
Role Responsibilities and Required Skills:
- Proven work experience as a web designer
- Solid understanding of WordPress and web design, specialising in usability and user experience.
- Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and sitemaps for Corporate B2B and B2C sites
- Advanced knowledge of SEO best practices
- Assist/work together with the in-house design team to create all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off
- Design of email marketing, landing pages, and other web deliverables
- Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills
- Perform required upgrades and daily website maintenance (theme and plugin updates etc.)
- Up-to-date knowledge with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
- Ability to solve technical problems creatively and effectively
- Participate in regular team meetings and strategic sessions, but also be autonomous when assigned priorities and tasks
- Experience in mobile website design
- Google AdWords knowledge highly advantageous
- Familiar with GoDaddy products and services
- Familiar with Avada wordpress theme
You will be working alongside our Creative Director and Digital Strategy Manager. However, you will also need to be self-motivated and run your own jobs and deadlines.
