3 year contract for an IT & Compliance Manager in the Transport and Logistic Industry based in the Gold Coast
Your new company
Our client is a major player in their field who has adapted tremendously in recent years to better situate themselves in an ever changing market. This established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced IT and Compliance Manager to take ownership and provide direction for both ICT Infrastructure and Development Projects.
Your new role
Reporting to the CIO and sitting within the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational direction for IT Projects. As the IT and Compliance Manager you will support the ICT operations and oversee the software and web related development projects. Your tasks and accountabilities include the following:
- Manage and prioritise BAU tasks and projects
- Create and maintain ICT policies and procedures to meet business governance, risk and compliance requirements
- Act as level 2 and level 3 technical escalation point for helpdesk staff
- Drive efficiencies and automation across the business
- Manage the ICT operational, project and capital expenditure plans within the approved budget
What you'll need to succeed
The right candidate will have a proven background managing IT operations and software/application departments, with significant hands on experience in transport and logistic technologies and operations management. You must have a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and be able to multitask and coordinate numerous concurrent projects.
