The Opportunity

As a Procure to Pay (P2P) Analyst in our Procurement team, you will take the lead as our Ariba P2P system expert. This role will be accountable for reviewing and updating requisitions, referring them to other members of the procurement team, ensuring requisitions are linked to contracts, and meeting the required standards resulting in high-quality purchase orders.

You will work collaboratively with business stakeholders to improve requisition quality and ensure appropriate contracts are utilised. You are the key contact for the procurement team in providing general assistance and resolving issues with the P2P process.

Other key responsibilities include;

• Consulting with the Sourcing and/or Contract Management teams, setting up, reviewing and maintaining catalogues
• Planning and designing guided experiences for end users, particularly considering infrequent users that may not be familiar with the procurement policy, processes or preferred suppliers and managing the administration for guided buying
• Supporting supplier enablement by on-boarding suppliers to the  Ariba network, determining the appropriate enablement method, explaining use/benefits to suppliers and educating suppliers on light enablement
• Embedding and improving transactional efficiency within P2P system, as measured by agreed P2P performance metrics including payment in full on time, delivery in full on time, etc.
• Continuously improving the capability and processes for delivering and supporting the business functions
• Engaging with stakeholders across the organisation to understand business imperatives and supporting these with Purchasing.

About You

Tertiary qualified, it is essential that you have experience working with Ariba in a strategic or operational procurement function coupled with transactional buying experience. Your knowledge and experience with “upstream” procurement processes including supplier information management, sourcing, contract negotiations, and contract management, will set you up for success in this role.

Your strong “customer focus, , communication skills, problem solving mindset, analytical skills and ability to influence and engage with complex stakeholders will add value to the Procurement team which is driven by high-energy and enthusiasm to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Experience with GuidedBuying, or a strong interest and skillset in technical UX or coding  will be highly-regarded.
