A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Service Desk Analyst to provide day to day first level technology support for the business.  The Service Desk Analyst will work closely with the internal technology teams and third party vendors to ensure service levels for our technology systems are adhered to.  The successful incumbent of the role will need to work flexible hours on rotating shifts and be available for out of hours on call support, as well as to work on public  holidays as required.

 

As a Service Desk Analyst, you will also be required to:

o     Act as a first point of contact on the IT Service Desk and ensure all requests are logged;

o    Classify incoming requests and ensure correct prioritisation and record quality description details in the ticket;

o    Follow applicable first level procedures and perform initial diagnostic / troubleshooting activities and escalating to second and third level IT support teams or relevant vendors if required;

o    Ensure timely, accurate and understandable messages are communicated to the impacted users and incident stakeholders for severity one incidents;

o    Installation of computer hardware and software;

o    Provide assistance to second level and desktop support when needed.

 

The ideal candidate will also have the following experience and skills:

o    Service Desk experience;

o    Computer technical support experience;

o    Strong attention to detail;

o    Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills;

o    General computing aptitude;

o    An understanding of financial information services and products including credit reporting, collections and marketing services;
