Role: Manager - Information Technology and Innovation

We currently have a rare Full-Time opportunity for a person with drive, experience and passion to step up to the next level and take ownership of the  Manager - Information Technology and Innovation role. The Manager - Information Technology and Innovation will be reporting to Chief Operating Officer, and will work Collaborative with Senior Management team members and external Stakeholders to deliver relevant contractual and business requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • To design, implement and deliver robust operational procedures, processes, service level agreements (SLA) to internal and external customers across the technology portfolio
  • Identify and act on opportunities to improve and update systems and software
  • Design training programs and workshops for all staff
  • Implement and maintain online systems across all business units and divisions
  • To ensure the rigour of the technology platforms and all of its components to deliver best practice business solutions
  • Perform regular checks on network and data security
  • Conduct regular system audits
  • Run and share regular system operation reports with senior leadership team
  • Oversee and determine timeframes, resources for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
  • To effectively manage the budget and provide reporting and analysis on outcomes.
  • To lead and mentor the team and increase capabilities and commerciality.
  • To professionally represent Glad Group to new and existing clients and;
  • To seek profitable new business opportunities.

To be successful in this role you will require:

  • Degree in IT, Business or related fields
  • Advanced levels of strategic business planning, forecasting, financial acumen and portfolio management
  • Extensive project management experience
  • Extensive experience and advanced application of IT service delivery frameworks, methodologies and process implementation
  • Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure lifecycle planning
  • Intermediate to advanced levels of Excel and other Microsoft Office products
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Strong leadership skills with a ability to drive change and engage others
  • Strong organisational skills, a capacity to work in a busy environment and to meet deadlines

This position is based in our Head office in Rockdale - NSW. However there may be some interstate travel as required by the business.
