Our client requires ICT Consultants with strong experience in Healthcare for ongoing roles in Darwin

Consultants are required in the following categories:

Project Manager:

Essential Skills / Experience includes

• Project Management experience delivering multi-stranded integrated Healthcare solutions in a customer facing role
• Experience of full project lifecycle through initiation, execution, go-live and closure
• Direct healthcare knowledge or 3+ yrs experience with an HIS or LIMS system highly preferred

Desirable Skills / Experience includes

• An understanding of hospital procedures, standard working practices, structure and politics
• Clinical experience or background – ideally as a user of TrakCare or other Hospital Information System (HIS) applications

Technical Specialist:

• Liaise with client or business analyst in regard to ongoing enhancement requests and requests for new or modified reports.  Advise and assist the Project Managers during implementation
• Manage the resolution of any outstanding acceptance issues before and after project go-live
• Develop custom/site specific software and technical support such as JavaScript, user defined functions, interfaces, reports, extracts, data migration scripts and conversions.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and performance analysis for reports, stored procedures, interfaces, conversions, data migration scripts and user defined functions.
• Knowledge of web orientated languages, including SQL, HTML, VB script and Java script.

Application Specialists – Pharmacy or Patient Administration Systems (PAS):

• Experience with Hospital Information, Patient Administration (PAS), and Clinical Information Systems
• Knowledge of PAS and/or clinical healthcare products or laboratory preferred
• Understanding of Health Informatics standards and reporting
• Problem solving and process improvement using technology
• A solid grasp of computer systems, software development and deployment methodology and computer networking
