ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Developing, leading and implementing strategy
  • Key senior member of Sales team, “taking others with you” and driving wider business objectives
  • Achieve annual agreed sales and profit targets and KPI’s
  • Work with the Ingham's operational team to ensure all strategies, plans and programs are implemented and executed
  • Strategic development and rollout with National Accounts Team
  • Promotional effectiveness and account specific promotions
  • Speed to market strategy
  • Monthly business reviews
  • Effective range / space management including range review analysis and presentation
  • Category analysis and recommendations
  • Efficient and cost effective route to market via Ingham’s distribution alternatives
  • Bring together the wider team with key opportunities, initiatives and strategic pillars for future growth

SKILLS AND TYPE OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Core skills required to be successful in this role include…

  • Min. 5 yrs. Frontline Sales experience in roles with progressive responsibility, including understanding/exposure to major retail accounts
  • Extensive Australian FMCG industry experience
  • Sales IT / Systems experience required
  • Ability to set agenda, build executional plans and lead large sophisticated teams of National account Executives
  • Proven people management experience at senior account level
  • The ability to create and leverage cross functional relationships at all levels across the Ingham’s business and FMCG industry
  • Large project management capability
  • Degree qualified with strong analytical/problem solving capability
