Fibre Stream Networks has 2 positions it requires to fill for it's fast growing company in the Melbourne area.
Experienced Position: We require the services of an experienced fibre splicer. Previous local carrier splicing experience is mandatory. UE Comm, Pipenetworks/TPG, Telstra, Vocus, Optus, Primus etc.
The applicant must hold a valid manual drivers license, industry safety card and an Open ACMA certificate/Cert 3 in Telecommunications. Working at heights and power awareness training preferred but not essential.
Van, phone and specialised tools will be provided for this position. Remuneration will be based on the applicants previous work history and experience.
Trainee Position: No experience required however a willingness to learn and work your way up through the company is a must. This is an excellent opportunity to break into one of Australia's fastest growing industries and be paid to complete a Cert 3 in Telecommunications.
What you'll be doing:
- Installation of Fibre optic cabling
- Installation of data cabling
- Installation of Carrier equipment
- Fibre splicing and testing
What you'll need:
- Be willing to learn new things & get your hands dirty
- Manual Driver's license
- ACMA and OHS certificates desired but not mandatory
