Reporting to the HRIS Director, the System Analyst is responsible for the design and configuration of functional Time Recording solution and for the ongoing operational support of the solution.
  
This role is suitable for someone who has an understanding of Time Recording capability and their interoperability with other HR Systems as well as a high level understanding of interface technology. 

Key Accountabilities:
  • Provide systems analysis, maintenance and support of the Time Recording system including reporting
  • Investigation and replication of production incidents
  • Ability to work autonomously to ensure high quality standards in application configuration and deployment
  • Collaborate with various contacts within the business to ensure effective and timely resolution of production issues
  • Provide advice and support to colleagues with regard to technical aspects of software support, maintenance and development
  • Work with software vendor on system bugs, BAU support and resolution of issue
  • Escalate issues as identified and suggest alternative approaches
  • Demonstrable experience operating in large scale IT environments
As the System Analyst, you will have:
  • 2+ years’ experience in a Time & Attendance position
  • Experience with analysis and evaluation of application errors, incidents, problems and work with software vendor technical resources to formulate solutions for production fixes
  • Relational data structure to support data analysis and reporting
  • Experienced with configuration of Time Recording Application to meet business requirements, and deployment of Time Recording solution
  • Ability to resolve or escalate issues as required and suggest alternate approaches
  • Provide production support appropriate to system
  • Conduct technical/application assessments for bug fixes and consider feasibility, effort and risks
  • Has user documentation skills, including designs, task cards, processes and procedures for review by senior staff
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred but not essential
  • Experience with Time Recording Solution and can operate independently with minimal supervision in a distributed and dynamic environment
